This database of finding aids allows users to search the full-text of guides to archival collections here at Hagley Library. It contains only those finding aids that have been converted to a machine readable format called Encoded Archival Description EAD, an on-going project.PARSED CONTENT
The site has the following in the homepage, "Collects, preserves, and interprets the unfolding history of American enterprise." We noticed that the web site also stated " Hagleys collections document the interaction between business and the cultural, social, and political dimensions of our society from the late 18th century to the present." It also stated " May be also be used to locate additional collections that are available for research but have not yet been converted to EAD. We would also like to acknowl." The header had finding aids as the highest ranking keyword. This keyword was followed by collection guides, archives, and archival which isn't as urgent as finding aids.
